Avodire Crotch Veneer Bar

Woodworking can make any room spectacular!
Our woodworking takes us in many directions.  In addition to building the veneered Avodire Crotch bar
, as well as Mahogany trim and the crown moldings, we also built the room itself. From the demolition to the final product, woodworking plays a major role.

Our Passion

Pro Woodworking Tips.com is a woodworking ezine, with well over 300 pages of content and more being added daily!

Be sure to check out the site map to get a feel for the information to be found here.

Created to provide a great resource for woodworking tips, tricks, techniques and information for anyone wanting to learn all phases of woodworking, from a professional woodworker.  There's sure to be something of interest for everyone involved in woodworking!

It is my goal to make this the most informative and user friendly, free woodworking tips web site on the internet. If you know of someone who will benefit from the information in this site, please,  . In 2007, our first year, we've had visitors from 104  countries!   Woodworking is a global passion!

It has been a labor of love to create this site, and share what I've learned over the years, as well as pass on what information I've learned from other woodworkers. I scoured the internet for free woodworking plans, as well as woodworking plans for purchase. These woodworking project plans can be an inspiration to come up with project ideas that you can use as a starting point for your own designs. I have links to material and tool suppliers to help you track down whatever your looking for.

As an amateur, turned professional woodworker, it is my hope to pass along the experiences learned through hands on cabinet and furniture making. The school of hard knocks can be a remarkable teacher as you aren't likely to forget the lessions learned there. (That's where I received my PHD).

In the shop layout section is free woodshop layout software. This will make the task of setting up your shop almost painless!

In the woodworking videos section there are a number of free instructional woodworking video links

Here's an inexpensive software program to help you  resize drawings or plans for creating a whole new look to your work! Easily enlarge patterns to any size with the Rapid Resizer. Large patterns are automaticlally tiled across multiple pages. Free 14-day trial.

In the woodworking forum section are links to an amazing amount of information, available for the asking.

The idea of this site was provide an easy way to find a source to woodworking tips, tricks and techniques, both basic and advanced, to anyone wishing to learn woodworking, cabinet and furniture making. Woodworking is a skill that can be learned by anyone with an interest in it. You don't need to be born with any special skills. (I certainly wasn't).

Our love is woodworking, whether it's building woodworking projects or discussing methods and techniques. Our projects vary in complexity from basic to advanced.

Cookbook Stand  18th Century Dressing Table  Carving the Ball and Claw

This site was created for all woodworkers. Regardless of your specific interests or experience, you can gain valuable insight to woodworking tips, tricks and techniques. We are continually adding to this site, so book mark us and come back often!

Included are links to many woodworking resources, from books to tools and equipment. Some are available for purchase through this site. We would appreciate your supporting these resources as they help in offsetting the cost of maintaining this site. (at no additional cost to you). We also link to a large supply of free woodworking plans.

The woodworking tips found in this site cover the many aspects of wooodworking, from basic tool descriptions to advanced tips and techniques.

Library Stair Unit     Entertainment Center      Home Office Desk for Two

If you concentrate on basic hand tool  use, cabinet design and construction techniques, and have the patience to develop these skills you're almost guaranteed to succeed. All of the skills needed can be mastered with repetition. You don't need to take a three year course at North Bennet Street School. (although that would be nice to do).

We believe results really are completely dependent on your desire. If you are unwilling to settle for poor results, the projects you create can and will be on par with the professionals. We have seen beginner woodworkers doing spectacular projects, simply because they weren't willing to settle for mediocre results.

With just a desire, and a few tools, and you'll be on your way to creating, not only beautiful projects, but a mental library of woodworking tips to draw from for your next project. Each project you create, you will learn new methods to increase you accuracy and speed.

Blue text on this site is a link and will take you to a related topic. Purple text will take you to descriptions for terms or words in the glossary

As the inventors of the ezee-feed systems, we have the opportunity to travel to woodworking shows and events, where we meet professional and amateur woodworkers on a regular basis. In the course of these meetings, we get to talk to some very nice, helpful people. We talk to them as much as we can, and we learn from them. Joining woodworking forums and clubs is a great way to learn and share tips with common interests . My favorite forum is www.lumberjocks.com . Here you'll find non judgemental people who love woodworking, and are very happy to help in any way they can, with no petty disputes found in so many forums. It is a fast growing family of woodworkers from evey walk of life.

I've joined "Veneeringforum," and would like you to join me in the conversation.
This isn't a typical forum - here you can:
 * Thumb up/down comments
 * Share a blog of all your posts
 * Post photos, videos, and mp3s

If you would like to drop us a line and make a comment, or have a specific question, that you can't find here, we would love to hear from you! Just send us an email and we'll respond as soon as we can!

Our position is a passion is something to be shared!

Very Important:

Woodworking is inherently dangerous. While this seems obvious, wear safety glasses. If it doesn't seem safe, don't do it.

Read and follow the information in your tool manuals. Keep your fingers away from cutters and blades.

These body parts do not grow back, and loss of them is a tragedy that can be avoided.

Table Saw Kickback Demonstration

Always use a splitter or anti kickback device on your table saw.

This small device could SAVE YOUR LIFE!

Biesemeyer makes a very good one. It's appears a little pricey, but it's well worth every penny!
